The Ghella Abergeldie Joint Venture is seeking a Stakeholder and Communications Graduate to join the team on the Central Interceptor Project for 18 months.
The Central Interceptor is a wastewater tunnel that will run between the Māngere Wastewater Treatment Plant and Grey Lynn. The 14.7-kilometre-long tunnel will run between 15 and 110 metres below ground. It will cross the Manukau Harbour at about 15 metres under the seabed. Along the route, it will connect to the existing wastewater network, which will divert flows and overflows into the tunnel.
What you will be doing:
As a GAJV Stakeholder and Communications graduate you will be the internal and external face of the project, assisting with the coordination of stakeholder and communications inputs and activities.
Responsibilities include assisting with the delivery of stakeholder and community engagement activities while helping with maintaining the stakeholder register and database and coordinating queries from stakeholders, industry partners and members of the public.
In addition, you will get to use your strong communication skills to provide support for the drafting and distribution of notification letters and newsletters to stakeholders and assisting with stakeholder and communications presentations. You will also assist with arranging, and community and targeted stakeholder events.
The successful candidate will have:
- Degree qualifications in Communications, Arts or equivalent qualification
- Full Class 1 Driver Licence
- 1-2 years’ experience in customer service or similar
- Experience working in the construction / infrastructure sector ideal but not essential
