The Ghella Abergeldie Joint Venture is seeking an experienced Lead Planner to join our Commercial team working on the Central Interceptor Project. This role offers you the opportunity to lead the project programme for one of New Zealand’s largest-ever Wastewater Project's.

What will you be doing?

Key responsibilities include preparing and maintaining the contract and the contractor’s internal delivery programmes including cost loading and resource loading to facilitate the best outcome with respect to cost, time and quality across the project

Our successful candidate will be able to identify programme risks to develop mitigation strategies, track progress and report the progress to the senior management team and analyse and monitor the third-party programs, ensuring the Master Contractor Program is followed.

In addition to the usual Lead Planner responsibilities, you will work collaboratively with our client in the preparation and updating the contract programme while working closely with the construction team to develop the programme and accurately track progress of the works activities.

You will have:

• Experience working as a Senior Planner

• Degree qualification in Engineering with a certification in Planning preferred

• Class 1 driver licence

• Experience working on large scale infrastructure projects preferred

• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project

• Advanced excel skills

• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy

• Ability to work collaboratively with others to get things done

• Excellent time management and organisational skills
