TBM Spare Parts and Material Specialist

The Ghella Abergeldie Joint Venture is seeking an experienced TBM Spare Parts and Material Specialist to join the team on the Central Interceptor Project. 

Reporting to the Procurement Manager you will be managing the day-to-day activities of our construction site warehouse, ensuring the production team has all the materials required on time. 

What you will be doing: 

• Ensure the availability of spare parts and material for the drive of the TBM 

• Perform monthly stocktake 

• Lease with warehouse manager to ensure good coordination 

• Work with the Plant Manager in order to optimize the cost and the stock of the warehouse Issue weekly reports on TBM and material critical stock 

• Responsible for the verification of materials’ delivery and transfer documents receipts 

• Perform stock cycle counts and inventory reconciliation 

• Ensure storage Quality Assurance requirements are met 

• Ensure H&S compliance at all times 

What you will have: 

• Excellent time management and organizational skills 

• You'll be an effective communicator, outcome-focused, and team player! 

• Knowledge and experience working with TBM materials and of the tunneling industry is essential - to be able to meet production timelines and costings. 

• Ideally mechanical background and knowledge to assist in finding solutions to optimize stock and assist the Plant team 

• Ability to work autonomously 

• Strong computer literacy 

• Accounting knowledge preferred, but not essential
